Auskick at SPJFC: Your Child’s Gateway to Australian Football and Beyond
Designed with game-based learning at its core, our Auskick sessions are where fun meets education, transforming traditional learning into an adventure kids eagerly anticipate each week. Starting in the calendar year they turn 5, children need no prior experience in Aussie Rules to dive into the fun.
But Auskick at SPJFC transcends beyond just being a child’s play. It’s an experience that invites families into the fold, offering numerous opportunities for parents to get involved. Whether through participating in activities or cheering from the sidelines, the program strengthens family bonds and fosters community spirit.

Registration fees cover the operating expenses of our club and include inter alia:
- Players insurance
- Association fees
- Umpire fees (Yr 4-12)
- Trophies
- Annual club booklet
- Team Jumpers: Jumpers for each team are provided by the club. It is essential that your child returns it at the end of their season

Our ethos is built around the belief that game-based activities not only enhance physical activity but also boost confidence, nurture social skills, and encourage a healthy, active lifestyle among youngsters. To promote an environment of safe and fair play, participants are grouped by age, with special all-girls groups available, ensuring a comfortable and inclusive setting for all.
Auskick sessions at SPJFC last a mere hour each week, emphasizing convenience and accessibility. The informal dress code further lowers barriers to participation, allowing kids to focus on the joy of play rather than the specifics of their outfit.
The rewards of joining SPJFC’s Auskick program extend far beyond the field. Participants forge lasting friendships, enjoy quality family moments, and acquire vital life skills. Additionally, they receive an exclusive Auskick pack filled with football treasures, an Auskick Junior Club Membership to their preferred AFL team (complete with game access!), and the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to grace the field during halftime at AFL and AFLW elite matches, possibly alongside their football idols.
