ALLOCATION OF TEAMS

It is a Perth DDC requirement and SPJFC policy that where there are two or more teams in any age group then teams will be selected to be of approximate equal strength. Although every effort will also be made to place players with friends or previous team mates, that may not be possible. Please note that under Club Policy, Year 3 team allocations will see previous Auskick year teams balanced under DDC and club policies.

You may email the Club Registrar responsible for your child’s year group to discuss if necessary. Late enrolments will be placed to fill existing teams, at the discretion of the Club Registrar responsible for that year group.

PARENTAL INVOLVEMENT

Like all junior clubs we rely heavily on parental involvement. The Club is You and your children. Junior football provides a great opportunity to get involved in your child’s sporting and social development, demonstrating your support. It is also a terrific venue for establishing new and lasting friendships.

Don’t just be a spectator, reap the rewards of being an active participant in your child’s team and club!

Coaches always need assistance at training, particularly with the younger teams assisting in development of individual and team skills. There is always room for people who do not want to commit to being ‘The Coach” but who can regularly attend training. Being a Team Manager is also a really great way to play a key role in your child’s team.

Please indicate on your registration form what role you can do to assist your child, their team and our CLUB.

PLAYER EQUIPMENT

  • Team Jumpers: Jumpers for each team are provided by the club. It is essential that your child returns it at the end of their season.
  • Shorts & Socks: Can be purchased through the club store on TeamApp or during the registration process.
  • Water Bottle: Players must have their own water bottles for training and games.
  • Mouth Guards: This is mandatory for Years 3-12. Your child will not be allowed to play without one, absolutely no exceptions!

UMPIRING

We are always looking for Year 8-12s who are interested in umpiring
Auskick, Modified and Youth grades. Great fun and good pay!
